Thoughts Of Yesterday
Too many times
I've felt the pain
Of love lost
That didn't return again
Too many times
The tears I've shed
Many times have
Filled me with dread
Love I know
Is lost forever
Will I love again
Probably, never
I know it sounds drastic
These words I say
But when I speak them
It's from memories of yesterday
I know the past
Is long gone
I know it's time
For life to move on
