Throne Of Thorns Poem by George Samuel

Throne Of Thorns

Rule after rule,
Your reign printed on scroll;
Your footsteps on sand,
Inked to marvel the wind;
And your starve on a slaves back..

Who daily cracks,
When you roar your orders like a thunder storm;
In picnic of pain your palace is formed.
Men to you bow and crawl!
Rule now to a fault.

By Satan with a dragon rod,
And legions that speaks fire and piercing sword;
But not till Kingdom Come,
Or everlasting, may your breath become_
Short. Like Nebuchadnezzar upon your Babylon;
Your throne rule by a battalion,

Rule, now we pray not forever.
