Through A Child's Eye Poem by R. Kenaniah Santhosh Raj

Through A Child's Eye

How different does the world seem
When you see it through a child's eyes
How different does the world seem
When you lay behind man's wicked lies.

Smiling faces and cheerful hearts,
The love among people is a beautiful sight,
Only until we're taught to separate -
One as black and one as white.

Hatred does not grow with age,
It's seeds are sown and watered.
These eyes started learning from the elder,
And that's where it all started.

To these eyes, love is the only attraction,
And reasons to smile are found in legions.
But only until we're taught to separate people -
In the name of caste and religions.
