Through My Eyes: emily Dickinson Poem by Meng Lim Dr

Through My Eyes: emily Dickinson

.....but this is
all I ever need
solitude and silence
for nothing else do I bid-

I'll not drown in
or sink in the greed
for society's adulation
where all is but pure deceit--

words are closer to me
as leaves to trees-- indeed-
I have life's mysteries uncovered
and the entire universe under my feet
