Through The Glass Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

Through The Glass

Live in
the jungle
Exist
in the zoo

The cage
all consuming
When captive
... adieu

At risk
in the wild
Or safe
through the glass

All life in
the difference
To roar
— or to gasp
