Till My Last Breath (Sonnet #18) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Till My Last Breath (Sonnet #18)

Oh, it's as if your heart was born for mine
Not by coincidence, but by divine plan
Your soft soul is a tenderness goldmine
Pampered I am with you, full of zest, zen

Sweet devotion you pour abundantly
My heart you embrace in my storms and strifes
Side by side, life is tasted differently
Because of you, the odds I could survive

In your tender hands, love, I put my heart
Safe my heart will be, loved, cherished with you
O Lord, unite our hearts never to part
O Lord, our love is divine, deep and true

My heart shall beat for you till my last breath
In you lies forever my home address
