Till the End of Time

Like separating skin from flesh,
The parting we had was hard,
Looking at your eyes I feel refreshed,
Looking at your smile made the beat stop in my heart.

Together lying on the snowbed,
Our hands were clenched as one,
With you I never felt gloom nor sad,
Even the moon gave way to the sun.

Sometimes my heart is filled with sorrow,
Now knowing what will happen tomorrow,
Holding your hands never wanting to let go,
Only that makes my heart rejoice till it glows.

I want to hug you so very tight,
hugging you with all my might,
From the beginning of dawn till the end of twilight,
Until our heart, body and soul unite.

When the day comes for time to take away our life,
do not fear, do not cry,
It's okay, it's alright,
For I will always be by your side.
