Till We Meet Again Poem by Ben Kavanagh

Till We Meet Again

Rating: 4.5

Till we meet again do I touch your spirit
and dream of you in the mornings light.
I still remember your face after years
of sadness at your passing. You were
the light in my darkness until death
came and snuffed you out.

You have joined the larger community
waiting to be allowed to come back here.
I wonder do you miss me and do the years
matter to you in the place of light where you are.
Strange the pattern of life when one minute we
are here and the next gone it is said to a better place.

May you find peace on your journey and please
if you can wait for the one who loved you with
heart, soul, body and mind my precious love.
Alone now I try to go on with life in all its goodness
and live this life as I always did day to day but
I do weep with sadness sometimes in remembrance
of your inner beauty but time is passing and
unfortunately I have to go so goodbye my love for now.
