Amazing how time has been so kind to us.
How it drifted away leaving memories as fresh as the morning dew.
That even after each season sleeps, we remain unmoved.
That even when the sun kisses the endless horizon, we remain unjaded.
I was here before you, you were here too.
But time knew at that moment,
You were not for me and I was not for you.
Time knew our hands won't fit and our lips won't meet.
Our hearts evolving, our souls searching but time decided - not yet.
You exist, I exist - in a place where time opened its boundaries.
I am here now, you are here too.
Unjaded, undaunted and unbounded.
Time brought us back to where we were, only this time, our puzzles fit.
And if one day we wake up with empty spaces between our fingers,
I will still smile, I will still play our favorite song.
I will remember you from afar. I will.
But for now my love, let me love you.
