Time - Poem by Shannon Greenwald

Without it we’re lost
The hope in the present
It’s wisdom never failing
For it guides us through
Even though I walk a black path
The ticking eternally echoing within my
Body and mind, the lane clears
For the seconds pass by
Yet another tick sounds within my soul.
