Time Poem by Pauline McVicar

Time

Rating: 3.0

We take our time and give it away,
Waste a day in mindless action.
Not allowing time for peaceful solice,
Losing our days through petty distraction.

Laid awake wondering at night,
How the love of your life is feeling,
Imagining your lives together,
Just staring blankly at the ceiling.

Peace of mind will not be achieved,
Unitl we know the underlying problem.
But let me warn you, please, of one thing,
The chance is that you won't solve them.

I know it's hard letting go,
But take it from me its best,
Just let it go and walk away,
And see if your friendship survives the test.
