Close to my half as it may seem, i've waited long,
To be with the One, they i should,
Wondering if life may offer another say,
Or would it be wise to seize the chance

To find an answer to relentless desires and prayers
That may seem so vague, yet so clear with what i want
To choose from many, the cover that i yearn for,
For my pages to be written and bound in love

Wise God has set a time, a time for everything,
Sooner or later, what lays ahead will befall
With a cheerful heart and warm smile i do wait
For his time to come when everything will be beautiful and well!
