The course of life will take you
And then,
You'll understand
How time rules
Over even the strongest
Of men.
We fight.
We long
To find the answers
To yesterday,
But, the lungs of time
Give in,
Until, we can no longer breathe
Into the future,
Of mankind.
You, my friend,
My love,
Are still set out to conquer.
And I wish you love and success.
Just know, that
When the mighty ship sails
For the future
In something
I know longer believe exists
That I will be there
To hold your hand,
And bring you with me.
I hope you take your time.
There is nothing spectacular
Awaiting.
But, I will be there.
