Time is fluid
swimming forwards
and backwards in a quantum swirl
remember before you found the cure
the solution
remember how we stood there stunned
watching your hands rest quietly
scrutinizing the distance
lengthen in your stride
studying the broad smile
cross this way and that
across your face

Remember that day that the exercise
and dancing
bicycling and boxing
seemed to pay off
and everything was better

Remember how we realized
it could be done
and celebrated
