Time To Break (A Song) - Poem by Jade Leven

are you scared every time you turn around
does it hurt every time you hit the ground
do you think that you're just done

do you feel like you can't forget the past
do you feel like you're going nowhere fast
don't be sorry for yourself, you're not the only one

I told you that one day it'd be time to break
when you've had all you can take
when you don't think you can make it
I told you that one day you'd give up the fight
even thought it doesn't seem right
if you think it through, you might
say it's time to break

does everything you do seem out of line
even when you thought it would be fine
are you filling up with doubt

is your whole world turning into dust
are you tired of running out of trust
you'll have to be patient, and wait it out

I told you that one day it'd be time to break
when you've had all you can take
when you don't think you can make it
I told you that one day you'd give up the fight
even thought it doesn't seem right
if you think it through, you might
say it's time to break

focus on the little things
the tiny joys that life your life brings
focus on the peace and love
and everything that you are proud of

I told you that one day it'd be time to break
when you've had all you can take
when you don't think you can make it
I told you that one day you'd give up the fight
even thought it doesn't seem right
if you think it through, you might
say it's time to break

focus on the little things
the tiny joys that life your life brings
focus on the peace and love
and everything that you are proud of
