Timeless Poem by Katherine Bryce

Timeless

Pain like this,
Hurts like never before,
I've never known pain,
As bad as this.

You hurt me,
Do you know that,
Do you know,
That I miss you?

I lied before,
When I said it's okay,
Because I'm truly,
Dying on the inside.

But I'd never tell you,
That you made me this way,
Because I don't want you,
To hurt like this.

I care about you,
Too much to,
Make you feel,
Even a little pain.

Did you know that,
I'd never hurt you,
I would have never ever,
Let you go.

You were special,
Rather are special,
And you'll always,
Have a place in my heart.

But I must know,
Why you let me go,
Why you turned,
And walked away.

Oh please tell me,
Tell me what I did,
Tell me why,
I stand here alone.

You made your promises,
That I thought you could keep,
But you broke them all,
When you left me.

I need you here,
At my side,
I long for the days,
When you were here.

I remember those days,
When you were at my side,
I remember the way,
You looked in my eyes.

I miss those days,
When you'd just gaze at me,
When your glance,
Made me smile.

Every second felt timeless,
Every second was perfect,
And I knew that what,
We had was true.

But my dear I ask,
That you tell me why,
Why I sit here,
Dying for you.
