Timeless Spark Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Timeless Spark

A spark
And here it goes
Dreaming of
Where it will end up
Beyond my own comprehension

But when will it fly?
Deriving sublime
Or is it truly the end?

I must truly ascend
Tired of being stuck
Upon this paradox
This anti-matter abode
This delusional dead end road
Tired of residing within this moment's void

Time is never meant to die
But turn into infinity
Into the light that shines
Balanced within its own inner peace
Being cherished unconditionally, lovingly

Timeless spark
These dreams flow freely
Will this body travel diligently?
Trying to make amends with this self-grief
Of never doing enough
To create a launching pad
To take me away for good

Fueling myself
So I can somehow finally come home
Never being afraid
To be seen, heard by everything
Building a great escape
From the ire, control of this comfort zone

Timeless spark
May I be your everywhere?
Yet, at the same time
Will you help me find my way home?

Please free me
Giving directions whichever they may be
The true freedom of finally being free

Timeless spark, will you turn me into you?
I am ready to go home

Timeless spark, I am finally ready for you
Take me home

Timeless spark, please take me far away from fear
