Times In Need Poem by Noorie Ali

Times In Need

Difficult times have risen
These sheets of tests have been spread
Are we able to prolong these feelings?

Or, are you still flustered?
Shed your tears for they are what release you from your cage
Tie your heart that is incised. The scattered pieces will soon vanish

Lust is finding its way.
You are not alone; I am silently listening to your heartbeat
It brings music to my ears, the glistering of your soulful acquaintances.

You descend in your thoughts like a candle melting away on intense heat.
Its wax staining your shredded heart.
Each beat will bear witness to your soulful loyalty

The white angel will surely hiss a lullaby.
One day there will be justice
To one flimsy spirit!
