Blue, black, gray,
These are the pigments of the night;
Cobalt, onyx and, slate,
A skewed rationing of this day's light.
Opaque to perception,
this dimness appears absolute;
And one may begin to question,
what was clear, certain, and the truth.
A lover's wanting reflection,
lies shrouded in twilights gloom;
Created by the darkness of indifference;
amidst the rigor of the moon.
Amber, bisque, and blond,
these are the complexions of the dawn;
Brings daybreak warmth to a Winter's twilight,
And silent revelation of fealty's plight.
