Tinnitus Poem by Baz scammell

Tinnitus

I love my tinnitus
The Roaring buzz
The Thundering ring
The Constant wail
The Reverberating
Never-ending
Unstoppable howl
The Pulsing shriek
The ever-changing tones
I love white noise
Let's make some noise!
Jackhammers
Trains
Crashing waves
I embrace you all
I love my tinnitus
Because
My tinnitus is part of me
And I have to love
all of me
Because if I
pause...
And consider
The alternative...
I have to love
my tinnitus.
