Titanic Poem by robert dickerson

Titanic

</...and the Titanic of our love,
fires in the hold still raging,
slides beneath the dark waves,
which themselves re-formulate
to seamless complacency;
absorbing the survivors aboard
bedding the dead, who
rudely refuse to go home.
