Tithe Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Tithe, a duty we must fulfill
To give back a portion of our gain.

A sacrifice, a test of our will
A testament of faith, not in vain
Ten percent, a sacred offering
To honor the blessings we receive.

A chance to show our grateful offering,
For all that we have been given and achieved,
Some may see it as a burden to bear.

A loss, a decrease in their wealth,
But in truth, it's a way to share
And to put our trust in God's stealth.

For when we tithe, we show our trust,
In the One who provides and never rusts.
