Title-Less Titled Work Poem by Sebastien St. Fellmore

Title-Less Titled Work

Rating: 5.0

held and embraced
remember that? can you still feel that?
couldn't wait? wouldn't wait?
rivers in low valleys carry fruitless tears
to the rivers-bigger and oceans deeper
feelings realer and a heaven more genuine
than promised purgatories and weighing stations
held and embraced
down which streets? at which parties?
who'd we party with? and where was i all night?
the flood of people stoned and looking to stone you
offers of love and drugs and sex and friendship
offers of honesty and openness and free hugs not held back
culture and addictions and suspicions and last hopes
held and enjailed
