To Poem by James Howden

To

To snuggle in my mothers arms, to gaze into her eyes,
to feel her soothing, gentle caress, subdue my tearful cries.
To hear her gentle voice once more, to look upon her face,
to revel in her loving grasp, cocooned in her embrace.

To hold her hands, to feel so safe, to feel her nuzzling kiss,
to lose myself in my mothers love, to once more feel this bliss.
To make her smile, to feel her joy, to watch her watching me,
to always think of my one true love, just once more let me see.

To let you know, of what you'll miss, when a mother's love has gone,
to enjoy god’s gift, of a mothers love, before it's been withdrawn.
To tell you, love your mother, to show you what you'll miss,
to now sit back, think of your mum, and fondly reminisce.
