As i express my heart in more than words
Know that i write this in words and colors
For the love and blessings
And joy your friendship brings.

Are you joyful on this pleasant morning
That reminds you of the time that marks your beginning?
That reminds you of that fragile hour
You filled the world with the cry of your arrival.

I ask but one thing, beloved friend
That you be a man of conduct and sound mind
That your heart may gallantly clings
To a belief in beauty through all wrong.

I ask but one thing o! Beloved
That never shall i find you wasted
As a man or wake to find you falter
On this path we tread that only matters.
