To a mother...

It seems a thousand years have passed in between..
I wonder if you still remember that evening,
When the stars were shining as bright as they could..
To shower the blessings and the love left within.

I listen to the thousand smiles giggling,
And the words that were left unspoken...
Amidst the beautiful lanes crisscrossing -
While the night stood standstill and shaken.

You must be a happy soul now -
Resting midway in the infinite galaxy;
Trust me this trail shall end too -
On the final day at the Supreme abbacy..
