Tin Mouse

To Be - Poem by Tin Mouse

Love is death
Love is life
I tried to forget
The unwinding road
Of love that’s passed

Life it hurts
Death is pain
For all we know
Of loving pain

Distant past
Distant future
For life to be
That comes to me

Living life
Living death
It hurts too much
To see your faith

Loving eyes
That looks in mine
Pain to bear
When you disappear

Living with you
Is pain enough
From chirping birds
To crashing cars
Life with you
Will disappear
