To Be Free Poem by Manukrishnan thulaseedharan

To Be Free

Rating: 5.0

Free me from your hands.
Free me from your tears and thoughts.
Cut the rope, let me go
let me fly with those clouds
that would one day see the world.

These birds won't hold their young ones back
they would let them fly soo high.
They would watch their little ones
fly through those clouds
that would one day teach them to live their dreams.

Don't hold me by my commitments.
Don't chain me with your fears
for i 'am gonna fly soo high
you are gonna watch and cry
'That is my little one up there high'.

So bid me farewell, wish me luck
for i'am gonna see that whole new world.
I owe you with my heart and soul
and that's the thing
which will tell me now and then
there are people who waits for you.
There is a place that waits for you to return some day
to tell her stories about the world you saw.

Beautiful desire that reminds, low aim is crime. Such hefty aims if nurtured and accomplished will definitely make one and his/her parents very happy and proud. Thanks for sharing, young man.10++
