The longing since
I was a little girl.
This empty feeling inside.
You filled the gap,
You took the place,
You gave me back my smile.
I have been broken
So many times before.
But you let me know I
Am loved,
And will be forever more.
So far away,
I need your hugs today.
I need to know that
I will be alright.
I need your wisdom words
That teach me so much.
I need to know that
I am loved.
I need to see your face,
To look in your eyes again.
Know that I can trust in you.
I need to be reminded again..
