To Be Seen Poem by Moe Monroe

To Be Seen

to be seen;
not with all eyes on you
standing in a crowded room
not on a stage or a pedestal
not in fame or even shame
really seen
you feel it in your skin, down to your bones
from the tips of your hairs, to your toes
deep, deep in to your soul
when every word feels like a song
and his song makes you feel nothing but whole
his touch make you feel your wounds being healed
and love doesnt feel like love anymore
but becomes just a four letter word
so minor, so insignificant
meaningless and impotent
that now all you want
is to be seen
