To Die Young Poem by Leaking Pen

To Die Young

To die young
In the arms of spring
Something is quite wrong
Reversal of the ring.

Smile of death adorns you
Your skin looks soft and pink
Confusing my adieu
Please wake up from your sleep.

Do I trust my seeing eyes?
Or is it the wish of my heart
You sleep in disguise
I wish it to be true.

My love, my child
How I can justify
My life when you hide
Your young breath in eternity.

I feel what each Mary feels
When He died on the cross
Malignant loss never heals,
The heart of a mother it steals.

Faith and hope are aloof
Their light I cannot perceive
Does heaven exit under my roof?
Leave me to morn I need my tears
