O' the chieftain who owns the hilly land
..Where the monkeys hang and play
By holding the branches of the jungle creeper!
The people who stand before the persons
..Of hard-core stone natured heart like a tree and beg,
They cannot get anything to satisfy their need!
The begging for alms before these people is similar
..To enter into the place where the saints of Jainism live!
Jain saints are of the nature of begging for food,
..And they don't save anything for tomorrow!
Hence, it is suggested to go and approach
..The persons who have passion to help everybody!
Note:
Once we were going to a temple for praying along with my father, who is a philonthrapist and who wears an ordinary dress of white Khadi Dhoti with a Khadi shirt.
Some of the saints near the temple approached my father and asked him for alms; and he too offered them enough. I asked my doubt why they had not approached the others who went along with him. He humbly replied that these people know whom to approach by seeing their face.
