To Etchelon Poem by John Chizoba Vincent

To Etchelon

When you get to the graveyard
Don't look for anything but my
father' bones which lay crying in pity
Bring it home let's keep watch
Over it's succulent beautiful words
We might see the future through
The eyes of the black bones but
If you can't pick up the bones
Search for the hair on the ground
It is the thread that connects our
tomorrow and today's dream.
