To Find And To Be Found - Poem by Ana Schatzmann
I left this familiar surroundings and this oh so cold society with the idea of finding myself.
But all I could find was an even colder society - and you.
Whatever this is, it is not what I came for but who would I be to control the future?
In all this time when I had no choice but do nothing else than thinking I yet started finding myself, who I really am and what I truly want.
My mind was full of questions and thoughts, spinning around in complete chaos with the result that the only things left were confusion and sleepless nights.
Slowly all those questions found an answer, but there still was one left, lost and forgotten in the middle of all these colorful thoughts.
What is love?
So young, inexperienced and alone in this big big world, only just found out what it is like to be happy, to be carefree, to make my own choices - to be alive.
And while i was busy finding an answer and forgetting about everything else,
I suddenly realised; I found love in your arms.
