Sometimes I wish we could go back in time
To fix the mistakes we once made
to not leave something that was wonderful
From the comfort of the person's arms who loves us the most
Sometimes I wish we could just go back
And not make the dumb decisions we made
Maybe then I wouldn't miss you like I do
All the memories we made together
All the laughs we shared
All the late night talks we had
All the lovemaking we made
Those eyes I had never wanted to turn away from
I could always get lost deep within them
Tonight you are on my mind
Wondering where our lives would be right now
Maybe if I wouldn't of left that dark night
Maybe we could of worked things out
And be in a better place than what we were
I wish I could just take back the pain I caused
I wish I wouldn't of left
I miss the sound of your voice
The way you used to hold me at night
The way you used to take me in your arms
When I was down
