I hope you don't forget me
Now that you're inside heaven's door
I hope you don't forget
That I'll love ever more

I never loved anyone
Who was quite like you
I loved all the little things
That you would always do

Like when we'd be walking
You'd take hold of my hand
Or when we'd go to the beach
You loved to run in the sand

You said you loved the ocean
With it's violent crashing waves
You said one day you'd like to explore
Some underwater caves

Or just sitting having coffee
With a lite conversation
We always found this to be
A great building foundation

To learning so much more
Then we already knew
You'd learn more about me
As I learned more about you

I believe that what we had
Was great in every way
My only real wish right now
Would be to have you back today
