To Hurt To See
As I watch the sun
Slowly leave the sky
It reminds me of a picture
That once caught my eye
I sit and watch the children
Playing in the sand
I watch a new born pup
As it tries to stand
I watch the ocean waves
As they tumble to the shore
But today the beauty of it all escapes me
Because you don't love me anymore
