To Impress Poem by Randy McClave

To Impress

I have many times before confessed
I am quite easily impressed,
From whatever that I see
With any person or company.
But, I am not impressed by cars
Or by money in banks or jars,
And I am not impressed by anyone's looks
Or by their education and learning from books.
I don't care about a person's social class
Or how greener is their grass,
And I am not at all impressed by a job title
Or if they starred in a recital.
If me you really want to impress
It's easy to do without a worry or a guess,
I am impressed by how you treat me and others
Being good and kind, are my druthers.
