To Karlos Poem by Jane Quijano

To Karlos

I could feel the softness,
The touch of your skin in your embrace...
How I miss the sweetness of your breath
Touching my neck...
It was like the wisp
Of the early morning breeze!
How I love the clinging of your body
While I touch your back...
I could hear your heart softly beating
Against my breast...
I could smell your hair and
That freshness of your skin!
So fragile and new,
I must be careful though...
Can I have a little bite
In each part of you?
I could hardly restrain myself so!
I want to embrace you
Until you are crashed
And eat the rest of you!
But that I cannot do...
My lips were bitten, my teeth grinding!
My hands were clenched tight
I could shout to the ends!
Shhh...My hands on your back,
Softly caressing...
My back was aching,
I was straining...
Until you are filled my sweet,
Or sleeping your dreamless slumber...
Silently then, Oh how I remember,
I lay you carefully down
In your tiny bed.
