To Late To Run (A Song) Poem by Bill Simmons

To Late To Run (A Song)

Rating: 5.0

Today I fell into her world again
I thought that I had her out of my mind
But look at me now and look what I’ve become
To late to run, it is done, the hurts begun

I thought that I had her out of my life
I just stood like any fool would
She taught me all about cruel she could
Now here I am, a fool he stood, the hurts begun

I know that I shouldn’t have looked into her eyes
I know that I shouldn’t believe another lie
But look what I’ve done, I can feel it swell inside
To late to run, it is done, the hurts begun

I found myself right back in her world
And I know that I should have run
But I just stood like any fool could
And my heart was just hoping I would

Today I fell right back into her world
I thought that I could live my own life
But there she stood and I saw her eyes
Look what I’ve done, the hurts begun, to late to run.
