To Lie And Deceive Poem by Jamyson Hoelscher

To Lie And Deceive

Lying and deceiving can get you nowhere, and everywhere at the same time.
But is it a good thing? Or is it a crime?
Should people be punished? Or rewarded for these sins?
Saw through the eye of the beholder? Or through the one with the cursed violin?
Most would repent from the latter and chose the first.
So from the sight of people these actions make you thirst.
For forgiveness, for light, only which God can approve.
Though some malevolent souls do not care to remove,
the darkness in their heart, the taint in their souls.
And while we pity them, they will still burn in coals.
For eternity or for a second? So much difference of the same.
So while they lie there, they have little but enough time to blame.
Theirselves for their mistakes, for leaving behind.
The goodness of their lives, the sanity on one's mind.
So while this morale stays the same.
Why do so many treat it as a game?
They are loyal to God, yet still they transgress.
But some fews days after they beg for forgiveness.
So those who are lost and in search of light.
Do not look for certain people but to God in his height.
For every life is corrupt, except for his.
So do not lie do him, and do as he says.
For as the detached angel has tricks up his sleeve.
God shall protect you, as long as you believe.
Some might not agree with this, and they shall turn to leave.
To continue with their lives of sin.
They're pitiful and naive.
