To Live Again Poem by Daniel Potts

To Live Again

Rating: 4.0

If I could live my life again
I don't know how or where or when
But I would find someone to care
And when I need her she'd be there.

It seems my life has been a waste
And now of life I want to taste.
Up till now all's been in vain
With little joy and much, much pain.

I've missed so much, I now realize
And must catch up before it dies.
This desire, this want, this driving need
To clutch, to hold as if by greed.

It's but a dream, it can't be done
You have a chance, but only one.
Be it full of joy or full of strife
You have to live but just one life.
