To Love Oneself
because no one
else's does
to look at one's self
in the mirror and
say, 'i love you '
because no one else
does
to be with yourself
rain or shine
even with all those
storms
and cyclones
and quakes and
volcanic eruptions
and floods and
tsunamis
because no one else
can.
last night, with
your glass of red wine
and juicy steak
you had a nice 'cheers! '
to yourself
and nothing but yourself
because
no one else can.
