To Much To Ask? Poem by katie norton

To Much To Ask?

I don’t want a conversation
I just want you to hold me
I don’t want a kiss
I just want flip through

All I can hear
In my life is a radio
With static on every station
Is there one thing right
Is there anything that’s truly perfect in my life

I don’t want to talk
I just want you
I don’t want some silly love song
I just want to flip through

All I can hear
In my life is a radio
With a sappy love song on every station
Theres never one to represent you and me
Is our love maybe not ment to be?

Well everytime I try to talk
All I hear is static
And everytime I try and sneak a glance
All I hear is a sappy love song
All I want is something to represent we
is that to much to ask, that my best friend love me?
