To My Father Poem by Bharath Krishna

To My Father

I was born to the world as nothing...
Began my life on your shoulders, it was your strength and mine too, The days I ran with you were years but little span,
I found no tiny bit to place between our hearts and days create the blunder with brutes..
Even we walk on the same road of the past filled with joys, noises, songs, hops and kisses of love now that took a tiny slue
and that love is veiled in both lives..
In that span, on the way I heard nothing but you and me...
Now I can hear everything not you...
No voice jumps out from tips and lips, things savaged!
The thing between our hearts is a leaf that has fallen long ago...
You gave me the best brushes;
I failed to crop my picture...
You gave me strength;
I failed to be a champion...
You gave me a life;
I forgot to create it...
I’m half-hearted all the way and sullen and truly realized...
Wait for a while my dad;
I’ll complete my picture...
Let your palm sound on my shoulder with deep mere smile...
