To My Lost Love
I sit staring at your picture
As tears fill my sunken eyes
As I remember the love we shared
How I promised to adore you for the rest of our lives
I promised to stay with you
To always stand by your side
You promised to cherish me always
And to never hurt me nor make me cry
But I was hurt the day
The world toke you away from me.
And now I can not seem to stop
These tears from flowing.
