To My Poet Friends
I have come to love you all.
When there is trouble you heed the call.
You inspire and lift me.
I just wish I could see
All of your smiling faces.
Each day as I go through my paces,
I will think of you as much as I can.
Each poet whether young, older, woman or man.
You have enriched my life.
You have lifted me from my strife.
You will always have a place with me
Deep down in my heart you see.
