To Nurserim Poem by Donward Caniete Bughaw

To Nurserim

I watch you move with steady grace,
No boast, no noise, just quiet light.
You meet each challenge face to face,
And turn the dark to morning bright.

Your hands keep working through the strain,
Through sleepless nights and heavy days.
You carry hope through joy and pain,
And never once look for the praise.

Determined heart that will not bend,
Dedication stitched in every seam.
You build the world you intend,
One careful choice, one steady dream.

So here I praise you, soft and true,
Not loud, but from a grateful place.
The strength you show in all you do
Is proof that will can light a space.
