To Pretend Poem by Amy Hang

To Pretend

I pretend
To smile,
To laugh,
& show no sadness,
But nobody sees
How much I'm suffering.
I cry when no one is around.
I show my scars
When I'm proven down.
I go black & blue
To let everybody
Know what's true
From abundant of ppl
Who hides their feelings
Behind their laughter & smiles,
But what I do
Everyday of my life,
I pretend
To smile,
To laugh,
& show no sadness

this is a sad wright but i do understand i have done a poem about the pain that wont go away to.its a horible feeling to have and it feels like you are stuck with it for life but you will see the light at the end of this tunnel :) you just have to find your way out. 'if your sad dont smile if your happy you grin because if you dont show your feelings noone can ever help you....you must let love in.'
