To Stop Your Leaving: Poem by Jana Rininger

To Stop Your Leaving:

Don't Leave, My Love,
I need you here.
You are my life, my light,
My world, and everything I hold dear.
I can't imagine you so far away,
Not seeing your bright blue eyes
When the night turns to day.
There's so much I have yet
To say and give to you,
There are so many things
We've yet to see and do.
Without you I am clueless,
A lost and lonely mess.
Can't you see?
I want to spend the rest
of my life here with you.
Please don't leave, love,
we have so much left to do
